Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in classroom settings Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN students Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEN students to reinforce learning concepts Assist with classroom management and behaviour interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress Required Qualifications: A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Experience working with children or individuals with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications Additional qualifications in education or special educational needs are desirable Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting Demonstrated experience supporting students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Training in specific interventions for SEN students Working Conditions: Temporary position with the possibility of extension Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Work within a school environment, supporting students with SEN All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
