Responsibilities include: approaching businesses, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding organising and helping with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, house-to-house and street collections recruiting volunteers and coordinating their work planning donation campaigns and events. controlling budgets and working to targets writing reports and minutes of the meetings design fundraising materials such as leaflets and flyers create and organise fundraising initiatives and events approach potential donors and maintain donor lists liaise with external agencies, including voluntary sector organisations, the media, local authorities, business contacts, trustees and other stakeholders or clients recruit and coordinate the work of volunteers Details of the skill, experience and qualifications required for each post We are looking for an ideal candidate who has: Great attention to detail and an ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
