Affinity Workforce Solutions are currently looking for a detail-oriented and committed Finance Assistant to support financial operations within a dynamic multi-academy trust. What Youll Be Doing
* Maintaining accurate financial records and information systems.
* Administering income, payments, and preparing transactions for authorisation.
* Processing receipts, invoices, purchase orders, and BACS payments.
* Preparing and chasing invoices in line with trust policy.
* Responding to supplier queries and reconciling statements.
* Ensuring financial coding aligns with trust guidelines.
* Producing budget reports and supporting bank reconciliations.
* Assisting with monthly and yearly financial tasks.
* Upholding confidentiality and safeguarding standards in all financial practices.
What Were Looking For
* GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above in Maths and English.
* Excellent IT, numeracy, and literacy skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with finance systems and processes.
* NVQ3, AAT Level 2 or equivalent (desirable).
* Experience in a finance role within the education sector (desirable).
* Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality.
* Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
