Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff during weekend shifts.
* Ensure food preparation and cooking meet quality standards and adhere to food safety regulations.
* Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and morale.
* Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
* Assist with serving duties as needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Conduct training for new staff members on culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and safety protocols.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and address any issues that arise during shifts.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
