£90-£105 per day
Cover People are working with a primary school in the SK5 area who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their resource base provision.
This role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop socially and emotionally in a supportive environment.
The Role
* Supporting pupils with SEN within the school's resource base
* Working 1:1 and with small groups of children
* Supporting pupils with learning, communication and behaviour
* Assisting teachers with classroom activities and interventions
* Helping to create a calm, structured and supportive environment
About You
* Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD or similar desirable)
* Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
* Confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff
* DBS on the update service or willing to apply
