Head of Primary and Community Care - Clinical Medical role at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
Responsibilities
* Lead ongoing development, delivery and evaluation of Primary and Community Care within the MBBS programme, reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Medicine.
* Develop a strategy to promote, maintain and expand undergraduate primary care education, including business planning, financial and objective setting.
* Contribute to sourcing external funds for educational innovation and evaluation projects through proposals and bid writing.
* Contribute to the School of Medicine achieving academic objectives through teaching, research, and income generating activities.
* Work with the Head of Partnerships and External Engagement to ensure sustainable recruitment and quality assurance of Community tutors.
* Collaborate with the Head of Professional Practice and Development to develop and deliver Community teacher training courses.
* Be the lead contact for external GP tutor GMC issues or student disciplinary issues relating to community placements.
