Proclinical is seeking a UK_CSO Technician to join a dynamic team in the dermatology and pharmaceutical sector. This role focuses on supporting clinical trial packaging operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and contributing to process improvements. You will work both independently and collaboratively to maintain high standards in a GMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute cleaning, start-up, and completion of clinical trial packaging operations following Standard Operating Procedures.
2. Perform primary packaging tasks, including bottle filling of oral dosage forms using various equipment.
3. Conduct labelling and assembly of clinical trial supplies, utilizing automated labelling and walleting equipment.
4. Monitor and control production processes and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and escalate problems as needed.
5. Develop and apply knowledge of electronic systems, such as SAP, to support operations.
6. Complete electronic batch documentation, equipment logbooks, and other relevant production records.
7. Adhere to GMP requirements and defined procedures to maintain quality standards in the packaging environment.
8. Work safely, understanding personal responsibility for Health, Safety, and Environmental principles, including risk management and COSHH compliance.
9. Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Skills and Requirements:
10. Educational background at A-level standard, preferably in sciences or IT-related subjects.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines accurately.
14. Proficiency in computer systems and willingness to develop and share knowledge.
15. Experience in a GMP-regulated packaging and labelling environment, ideally within clinical trials.
16. Working knowledge of SAP and basic understanding of clinical trial operations.
