Are you an experienced Office Manager ready to take the next step in your career? This is a rare opportunity to join Danecourt School, part of the Maritime Academy Trust, at an exciting stage of growth. With future development in the pipeline, we’re looking for a skilled and ambitious professional who can lead our busy office now — and grow into a wider role with greater responsibility over time.
About the Role
You will oversee all aspects of school administration, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and excellent service. From managing systems, staff and processes to supporting leadership with key priorities, you’ll play a central role in keeping our school running smoothly.
Key duties include:
1. Leading and line managing the admin team
2. Overseeing office systems, attendance, and parent communications
3. Supporting HR, recruitment and compliance (including the SCR)
4. Managing the website and contributing to marketing
5. Ensuring clear communication with staff, families, and external partners
6. Providing high-quality admin support to the Headteacher and SLT
Who You Are
We’re seeking someone who is:
7. Experienced as an Office Manager (ideally in a school)
8. Skilled at leading people and driving improvements
9. Organised, proactive, and able to juggle a busy workload
10. A confident communicator with strong IT and written skills
11. Committed to safeguarding, compliance, and high standards of practice
