Job Title: Functional Skills Outreach Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Fairlop Waters Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver English and Maths functional skills outreach sessions to students Assess individual learning needs and develop tailored learning plans Provide support and guidance to help students achieve their academic goals Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance learning outcomes Required Qualifications: Teaching qualification in English and Maths Experience in delivering functional skills education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience in English and Maths Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of functional skills curriculum Ability to create engaging lesson plans Proficiency in using educational technology Organisational and time management skills Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries Potential travel to different locations within Greater London All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
