We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious GIRS Gas Operative to join our team. Working under the direction of the Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring gas networks are installed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
What Youll be doing
Working closely with the Team Leader day-to-day
Supporting the Team Leader with the installation of gas networks on new build construction sites
Assisting with laying, connecting, and testing gas infrastructure
Helping to record details of the work carried out
Making sure you and those around you stay safe at all times by followingall Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental guidelines
Reporting any accidents or near misses
Attending toolbox talks and following site instructions
Keeping the site clean, safe, and organised
Taking part in training when needed
The Person
Registered with the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) essential
SHEA (Gas) & NC01 certifications essential
Full UK driving licence essential
Desirable Skills
Appropriate plant operators certification
Previous experience working within a GIRS Utility Connection Provider environment
