Your new roleStart date tbc (Sept onwards), you'll take on a permanent leadership role as Head of Music, overseeing the department and delivering outstanding music education across key stages. This role requires a confident and accomplished pianist who can teach piano to a high standard and inspire students through performance, composition, and musical appreciation.Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the Music department, including curriculum planning, staff development, and performance management.
* Teaching Music across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially KS5.
* Delivering specialist piano tuition and supporting students in developing advanced performance skills.
* Organising and leading extracurricular activities such as ensembles, choirs, and school productions.
* Managing departmental resources and contributing to whole-school arts initiatives.Who this role is perfect for:This role is ideal for:

What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Substantial experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
