What This Role Offers You Join the Heat Network Operations team where you'll contribute to a critically important business function that sits at the intersection of operational excellence and commercial success. You'll manage our exceptions management programme and Optimise portfolio - learning to identify, investigate, and coordinate the resolution of both prepayment credit issues and poorly performing properties. Through this work, you'll contribute to improving relationships with clients and help Switch2 improve the efficiency and reliability of our products and services. As you develop, you'll share knowledge and expertise across different areas of the business, building mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and learning to provide analysis that supports key business decisions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Data Analysis & Monitoring Learn to monitor prepayment credit performance using exception reports and BI analytics tools • Analyse heat network performance data to identify properties that need attention • Help assess and prioritise issues based on urgency and impact • Develop your understanding of data patterns and what they mean for the business Coordination & Communication Coordinate appointment bookings through Customer Service for property visits • Help create clear briefings for Field Service engineers • Track progress on active cases using our Jira systems • Support monthly reporting that goes to clients and senior management Learning & Development Work closely with experienced team members to develop your technical knowledge and business understanding • Build mutually beneficial relationships across Customer Service, Field Services, and Client Account Management teams • Learn about debt management, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance • Contribute to identifying patterns that may suggest new service opportunities or improvements • Participate in carbon reduction projects that make heat networks more sustainable and support the UK's Net Zero journey • Share insights and learnings with the team to help everyone improve What We're Looking For You're Naturally Curious About Business You like understanding how things work and can see connections between day-to-day problems and bigger business opportunities.
