Strategy Manager - Consultancy experience needed
Our client within the Insurance sector is recruiting for a Strategy Manager to join the team on a contract basis remotely.
Role and responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals using best practice strategy tools and frameworks.
2. Lead all aspects of project scoping, deliverables, and activities required to validate opportunities to optimise sales through both tech-enabled and non-tech initiatives.
3. Manage initiatives from start to finish, collaborating with each Exco member and multiple organisational stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
4. Drive the development of content, either directly or by providing guidance (such as sharing ideas, frameworks, or input on research and analysis).
5. Scope and manage strategies for new product releases and enhancements, including developing enablement materials and conducting market analysis.
6. Support the ExCo in building out a new product in a regulated, complex industry.
7. Build and maintain consensus with ExCo on initiative goals, critical issues, work plans, implications, recommendations, and implementation plans.
8. Synthesise complex inputs and analyses into compelling, executive-ready recommendations that inform strategy and contribute to long-term business success.
9. Prepare materials for steering committees and internal discussions.
Experience required:
1. Proven strategy development and implementation experience.
2. Consulting experience with a top-tier firm.
3. Experience in sales optimisation and growth-focused projects.
4. Strong structuring and analytical skills.
5. Commercial acumen in planning and delivery.
6. Hands-on delivery experience working closely with senior leadership.
