Senior Infrastructure Engineer
We're seeking a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Live Services Infrastructure team. If you thrive on solving complex problems, love working with AWS, and are skilled in designing resilient, scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, this is the role for you. You will collaborate with fast-paced delivery teams and partner with top-tier tools like GitLab, Jira, Slack, and SharePoint, alongside partners like AWS, UiPath, and MongoDB.
Our focus is on proactive monitoring, robust solutions, and maintaining critical services. We offer access to extensive learning resources, including expert-led training and Slack support channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, Autoscaling, Lambda, and AMI creation using Image Builder or Packer.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform, including scripting templates with parameters, functions, and resource references.
* Manage GIT repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Configure and manage AWS VPCs, including subnets, security groups, peering, and gateways.
* Operate and troubleshoot Linux (Amazon Linux, Red Hat, CentOS) and Windows Server environments, including scripting with Bash and PowerShell.
* Maintain and support live, business-critical environments, following change management and SRE principles, and practicing incident/problem/change management.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive experience with AWS compute and networking services.
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform.
* Strong knowledge of GIT and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with Linux and Windows server administration and scripting.
* Understanding of DevOps, SRE, and incident management practices.
