Join us as a Trust Grade Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry. Based in our Crisis Resolution home treatment Team in Nuneaton. There are endless opportunities for your career here. Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities of the role are:
* The assessment of patients referred to or under the care of the North Warwickshire and Rugby CRHT, arranging all investigations and treatment, including regular review as specified by the Consultant.
* Medical care of patients with referral to/or advice from the GP and or other doctors where appropriate.
* Commencing and supervising treatment, including medication and other psychological treatment programmes as indicated and approved by the Consultant.
* Upkeep of clinical records, which are primarily electronic, reviewing notes and checking investigation results.
* Regular domiciliary visits to assess & review patients as required
* Referring patients to other specialties and liaising with other agencies as appropriate.
* Preparing discharge letters or reports as required.
* Liaison with carers and family members as appropriate.
* Regular feedback to the Consultant and/or the MDT regarding problems and patients progress.
* Attending handovers, case conferences, safeguarding or planning meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings and carrying out any other duties allocated by the Consultant, including follow up of patients.
