We are looking for a Project Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to take ownership of a varied portfolio of M&E projects on a high‑profile defence site, delivering them safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Role Responsibilities
* Define project scope with key stakeholders and deliver Mechanical & Electrical projects safely, on time and within budget.
* Lead, coordinate and motivate project teams, including specialist designers and contractors.
* Manage risk, change control and project dependencies, resolving issues across multiple workstreams.
* Maintain full compliance with CDM regulations, contractual obligations and industry standards.
* Monitor project performance, financial controls and forecasts, working closely with the Commercial team.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering Mechanical & Electrical projects from initiation to completion.
* Knowledge and experience of NEC contracts and relevant construction legislation.
* Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC).
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an M&E construction or engineering environment.
* Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to delivery.
* Confident leadership and communication skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
* Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and P&L understanding.
* Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with Microsoft Project experience preferred.
