Job Description
To work in partnership with colleagues, Managers, and the wider People team to provide high-quality, comprehensive support across all aspects of the employee life cycle. To participate fully in the projects and activities of the People team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Relations: Assist with Employee Relations, including resolving queries and addressing concerns related to Terms and Conditions. Provide general HR advice and guidance to colleagues and managers. Escalate more complex queries as appropriate.
2. Life Events: Collate, draft, and maintain appropriate documentation for employee processes and ensure accurate maintenance of employee records.
3. Performance Management: Signpost managers and teams to relevant support, and maintain and draft appropriate documentation.
4. Data-Driven Insights: Maintain up-to-date data and conduct regular analysis to provide accurate MI data to support decision-making within the wider People team.
5. Service Delivery: Deliver a consultancy-style People service to business areas, ensuring service level agreements are met, systems are maintained, and standards of service, performance, and continuous improvement are upheld.
6. Recruitment: Provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Analyze exit interviews and manage reference provision.
7. L&D: Manage the training mailbox to support coordination and scheduling of training sessions and workshops. Provide general L&D advice and guidance, and update and maintain the LMS and Workforce Development Fund.
8. HR: Support employee lifecycle processes such as special leave, DBS, Nurse Pins, right to work, hours changes, increments, annual leave, and probation.
