Overview
Warwickshire and Solihull Community and Voluntary Action is recruiting a Programme Director for Rooted in Nuneaton & Bedworth. This is a Fixed Term contract until 31st March 2029, 37 hours per week, £45,088 per annum. The role is Office/Hybrid (The Newtown Centre, Nuneaton) with regular travel across the Borough of Nuneaton & Bedworth.
As one of twelve Creative People and Places (CPP) projects funded by Arts Council England, Rooted aims to increase participation in arts and culture, especially among those least likely to take part, and to celebrate creativity as an essential part of everyday life. The Programme Director will lead in bringing this to life, managing a small team, and working with residents, artists and partners to co-create a programme that builds pride, connection and opportunity. You will help write the next chapter of our story at a moment of real transformation in the Borough.
Responsibilities
* Lead the project and manage a small team, working with residents, artists and partners to co-create a programme that places creativity directly in the hands of people who live and work here.
* Collaborate with a consortium of civic, social and cultural partners to deliver the Rooted project.
* Drive positive change within communities and the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector; thrive in collaborative environments.
* Help write and shape the next chapter of the project during a period of transformation in the Borough.
Requirements
* Strong management experience and the ability to lead a programme in partnership with multiple stakeholders.
* Passion for community participation and creativity to transform people and places.
