We currently have an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused Finance Manager to support a large catering contract, working closely with senior operational leaders to drive financial performance, insight and continuous improvement.
About the Role
This is a key business-partnering role, acting as the main financial support for a large catering contract and its operational leadership team.
You will:
Act as the main financial support to senior operational leaders and site teams
Build strong working relationships to support effective decision-making
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, providing challenge and insight
Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts and detailed variance analysis
Support month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and invoicing
Analyse site performance, client spend (core / non-core) and savings initiatives
Provide timely, clear management information and data analytics to operational teams
Support operational and client meetings, including reviews and service proposals
Maintain strong financial controls across sales, stock, labour and cost management
Identify risks and opportunities and support action plans to improve performance
Continuously improve financial processes to reduce administration and enhance insight
Work collaboratively with site teams, shared services and the wider finance function
This position will require travel to attend client site meetings and reviews
About You
You are a confident, hands-on finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and turning data into meaningful insight.
You will bring:
Part or fully qualified ACCA or CIMA
At least 5 years experience in a finance or accounting role
Strong commercial finance and business-partnering experience
Excellent analytical, financial modelling and data interpretation skills
Confidence supporting operational teams with data analytics and performance insight
Strong Excel skills and strong PowerPoint presentation capability
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work autonomously
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience in catering, hospitality or facilities management
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
