PR Manager – Fitness & Wellbeing

Join our External Communications team and help bring Nuffield Health’s purpose to build a healthier nation to life.
As the PR Manager you will:
* Lead PR for fitness and wellbeing centres and key community programmes.
* Develop and deliver PR plans that grow awareness, engagement and consideration.
* Drive proactive media relations, securing stories, case studies and expert commentary.
* Maintain an always‑on pipeline of consumer media coverage.
* Monitor health and lifestyle trends to ensure Nuffield Health is part of relevant conversations.
* Provide issues and crisis comms support with clear, timely messaging.
* Produce high‑quality materials: press releases, Q&As, member stories and messaging.
* Work closely with marketing to align earned PR with wider campaigns.
* Act as a primary media contact and support the press office, including on‑call rota.
* Advise senior leaders on reputation, issues and opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with key media and elevate internal spokespeople.
To succeed as a PR Manager, you’ll bring:
* Degree or significant communications experience.
* Strong background in external communications, media relations and issues management. 5+ years plus experience.
* Experience developing PR strategies and managing agencies.
* Excellent writing and messaging skills.
* Able to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
* Digital communications experience and ability to build engaged communities.
