Role: Stock Operative
Rate:£12.73 - £13.83 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Location:Pontefract, WF8 3DD
Shift Available:06:00 to 18:00pm (2-week rotating shift pattern (WK1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Sunday= 55 hours, WK2: Wednesday, and Thursday = 22 hours)

A committed team of over 800 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.
About you:
* Previous experience within the food industry is advantageous but it is not essential!
* Full training will be given.

Role:
* To improve production efficiency through reduction production down time across the Vanderlande racking system, in safe and efficient manner supporting daily production targets
* Carry out small repairs and undertake small fault finding
* Rectify machine errors and record on the central database
* Ensure emergency stops are in good working conditions
* Identify Production Efficiency Improvements
