Certus Construction Ltd is a specialist contractor based in Chepstow, working across a range of projects in the construction industry. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work with a focus on professionalism, safety, and client satisfaction. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to join our friendly team.

The Role

As an Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our office. This is a varied role that would suit someone proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to work as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answering and directing phone calls and emails
* Managing correspondence, filing, and data entry
* Assisting with document preparation (quotes, invoices, reports, etc.)
* Maintaining accurate records and databases
* Supporting managers with scheduling meetings, diaries, and travel arrangements
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required
* General office administration duties

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and a good communicator.

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Previous office/administration experience
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
* Attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable:

* Experience in a construction or contracting environment
* Knowledge of Sage, or similar accounting software
