This cutting-edge company is developing advanced quantum computing systems, working at the intersection of software, hardware and quantum science. The team is now looking for a QPU Software Engineer to support the development of software that orchestrates and controls complex quantum hardware systems.
You’ll work closely with physicists, hardware engineers and systems teams, building software that manages real‑time control, system integration and performance across highly specialised platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong experience developing software in C/C++ and Python
* Experience working with hardware control or embedded systems
* Understanding of real‑time systems or hardware‑in‑the-loop environments
* Experience interfacing with hardware (e.g. SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet)
* Ability to work across complex system integration and debugging challenges
* Ideally, exposure to FPGA systems, scientific instrumentation or control systems
