TPF Recruitment, specialists in Public Practice recruitment across London and the South East, are supporting a highly respected Top 20 accountancy firm in their search for an experienced Private Client Tax Partner to join their London office.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established private client specialist who enjoys working with high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals, shaping strategy and developing high performing teams.
The role
As Private Client Tax Partner, you will take ownership of a substantial and prestigious client portfolio while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm’s Private Client offering.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading a portfolio of HNW and UHNW private clients
* Providing high level technical advice across a broad range of UK private client tax matters
* Driving business development, networking and cross selling opportunities
* Developing consultancy and advisory services for existing clients
* Working closely with fellow Partners and Directors on service line strategy
* Contributing to marketing activity, publications and client events
* Full responsibility for budgeting, billing, recoverability and delivery across your portfolio
* Leading, mentoring and developing a team of senior and junior professionals
* Supporting recruitment, training and long term succession planning
* Reviewing team structure, resourcing and utilisation
Requirements
* Deep technical knowledge of UK private client tax
* Proven experience advising HNW and UHNW individuals
* Background in a recognised UK accountancy or professional services firm
* Strong leadership experience, including managing senior staff
* Track record of business development and relationship building
* Commercially focussed, with experience managing complex advisory projects and fees
* Confident communicator with strong influencing and networking skills
* Passionate about developing people and building long term client relationships
