The opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive Estates Assistant to support the maintenance and smooth running of our Slinfold HQ and wider AJW estate. Your work will help ensure our facilities reflect the world‑class aviation business we are.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintenance Support: Assist with hard and soft services across all sites, carrying out routine checks and preventative maintenance.

* Helpdesk Response: Manage incoming maintenance requests and ensure timely action.

* Site Monitoring: Complete daily and weekly inspections, logging issues and updates.

* Procurement Support: Help coordinate contractor visits, site surveys, and documentation, working with the procurement team.

* Health & Safety: Work closely with Estates and HSE teams to maintain compliance.

* Projects: Support the delivery of estates projects and larger tasks.

* Events: Assist with setup and breakdown for onsite events.

* Emergency Cover: Provide 24/7 call‑out support for urgent estate issues




About you



* Experience in facilities, maintenance, or a similar hands‑on role

* Practical skills across basic repairs, maintenance tasks, and site upkeep

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and respond quickly

* Confident using email and digital helpdesk systems

* Good communication skills and a professional, customer‑focused approach

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Full UK driving licence (desirable)

* Physically able to carry out manual tasks and site checks
