Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of individuals experiencing acute mental health needs, while supporting the development and wellbeing of the ward team., The post requires the successful candidate to:

* share the wisdom of their own lived experience of recovery
* have a relationship of mutuality with service users
* inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.
The post holder will provide individual supervision to the Peer Support Worker working within the ward, taking them through our 'Lived Experience Support Induction' and establishing their role within the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be an ambassador of recovery for the Trust with external agencies and partner organisations.
Eligibility & Requirements
Have you had lived experience of mental ill health and inpatient services? Would you like to support current inpatient service users? If so, we would like to hear from you as we have an exciting opportunity to become a senior peer support worker (PSW) within the Acute and Urgent Care Division., This role is NOT eligible for sponsorship and you must have the right to work in the UK in order to apply. If you are a graduate visa holder, you must have at least 12 months before expiry.
