Health Visitor – Peterhead
29.6 hours per week, based within Peterhead Community Hospital/Health Centre.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a creative and driven Health Visitor to join our Buchan Health Visiting Team.
The successful candidate will require excellent organisational and communication skills, along with a dedication to integrated teamwork.
Understanding the GIRFEC framework is crucial, as well as knowledge of the Universal Health Visiting Pathway, UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024, Named Person, and Children & Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.
For first-year Health Visitors new to the Peterhead area, we offer monthly case supervision to support caseload management and community integration. There are also opportunities for multi-agency networking through participation in the local GIRFEC Group.
Our Buchan Health Visiting Team aims to foster a trauma-informed workforce, supporting ongoing professional development and international collaboration opportunities.
As a key member of the Buchan Health Visiting and School Nursing Team, you will contribute to reducing inequalities and enhancing health and wellbeing in the communities served.
