We're supporting a major UK Government department looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join the Cyber Services Team to lead finance, commercial, and people operations, ensuring smooth delivery while supporting governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Finance & Resource Management: Track, manage, and report finances; align corporate tools (Oracle/UKSBS) with team tracking; support budgeting, forecasting, and automated reconciliation.
* Commercial & Procurement: Manage procurement and supplier contracts; contribute to business cases; liaise with central finance and commercial teams for compliance and approvals.
* People & Capability: Support recruitment and onboarding of permanent and contingent staff; coordinate long-term campaigns; maintain consistent onboarding processes.
* Communication & Organisation: Maintain delivery pace, track actions, run focused meetings, influence stakeholders, and embed process improvements.
