Application Developer!
Wise Employment are recruiting for an Application Developer to join a fantastic company based in Maidenhead.
This is a Full Time Permanent Opportunity, where you will be working 9:30am – 5:30pm, offering a salary of £50,000 a year, potentially higher for the right candidate, with onsite parking! This role is initially based on site; and then has the option to become remote.
As an Application Developer your responsibilities will be to:
1. Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications
2. Develop new features and tools to agreed requirements
3. Scope, estimate, schedule, and communicate development work
4. Ensure solutions comply with IT security and ISO27001 standards
5. Identify and deliver system improvements
6. Collaborate with the Senior Developer and wider data team
Too be successful as the Application Developer you will need:
7. C#, .NET Core, OO development, repository pattern, unit testing
8. Windows Forms experience
9. Strong MS SQL Server skills (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions)
10. Database design and development
11. Git or similar source control
12. Debugging, problem-solving, writing documentation
13. PowerShell scripting, API development
14. Microsoft Access (structure, design, VBA)
15. SSRS, SSIS
16. Excel (Power Query, formulas, VBA)
17. Power BI
18. Beneficial: web development
19. Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills
20. Ability to manage small–medium development projects
21. Quick learner, self-motivated, strong team player
22. Ability to support and guide others
23. Helpful: knowledge of Data Protection principles
