Overview
Envisage Technologies is seeking an experienced Trim Developer to join our team at Doyle Drive. This is a full-time position, available on a contract or permanent basis. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in automotive trim development, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to achieving Show Car-level standards. You will be responsible for developing and trimming high-quality vehicle interior components including steering wheels, instrument panels (IPs), doors, consoles, and carpets and producing fully functional Mylar patterns.
* Develop trim to Show Car standards, while maintaining production intent.
* Create high-precision Mylar patterns with exceptional craftsmanship.
* Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams to ensure quality, functionality, and feasibility.
* Support both prototype and production builds as required.
* Take ownership of projects, maintaining strong working relationships with clients and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality results.
* Confidently sew your own development covers, including detailed stitch work.
* Follow all established safety procedures.
Requirements
* Essential Minimum 5 years of experience in Trim Development, ideally within Automotive OEMs or the Concept Vehicle industry.
* Proven expertise in creating precise Mylar working patterns to the highest standards. Deep understanding of production processes and expectations for Show Car quality.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-tier craftsmanship.
* Experience in CAD reviews and image interpretation, with the ability to advise on sew trench placement for optimal stitch design prior to part manufacturing.
* Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when needed, often under tight deadlines.
* A self-motivated professional who is confident in client-facing meetings, skilled in problem-solving, and driven to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
* Willingness to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
* Essential level of competency.

* Strong Relationship Building, Desirable level of competency.
* Previous show car experience.
* Reputation within the industry.
