What You Will Be Doing
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will support the delivery of a variety of transport planning projects while developing your technical and professional skills.
You will be responsible for:
·Assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
·Supporting Travel Plan preparation and monitoring
·Undertaking transport data analysis and research
·Assisting with traffic and transport modelling tasks
·Supporting highway access and feasibility studies
·Producing technical reports and supporting documentation
·Attending meetings with clients and stakeholders alongside senior team members
·Learning about the planning and development process
·Assisting in the delivery of projects from concept through to planning approval
Skills and Experience Required
To be considered for this Graduate Transport Planner position, you should have:
·A degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering or a related discipline
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
·A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
·Knowledge of the UK planning process would be advantageous but is not essential
·Relevant placement, internship or work experience would be beneficial
