About The Role We are seeking a Database Programmer to join our Database Programming team within the Data Sciences department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in database programming within a supportive and high-performing environment. This role would suit someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data integrity, you will develop your skills to work independently with minimal supervision and play a vital role in supporting clinical studies. This is a hybrid role based at our Edinburgh site. Key Responsibilities Design simple/standard eCRF database screens and edit checks Perform system administration tasks such as user access setup, data extracts, and archiving Assist with database design and testing for clinical studies Ensure compliance with SOPs and Good Clinical Practice Maintain your training file and contribute to a collaborative, flexible team environment About You A degree in Life Sciences or a numerate discipline (or equivalent experience) Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and email Eligibility to Work in the UK Please note that this position is not eligible for sponsorship under the UK points-based immigration system.
