The Role
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping students succeed both academically and personally. Working alongside teaching staff and pastoral teams, you will:
• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence
• Help pupils regulate emotions and develop positive behaviours
• Provide encouragement and guidance during lessons and throughout the school day
• Support students who may be at risk of exclusion or disengagement from education
• Implement behaviour support strategies and intervention plans
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Record progress and communicate effectively with school staff

• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills

Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate (or have one registered on the Update Service)
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years
• Be willing to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) if required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
