Senior Quality Engineer - Defence & Aerospace – Coatbridge HQ, Scotland, North Lanarkshire. Permanent role with a competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities
* Lead quality activities across design, production, and delivery.
* Support customer programmes with a strong focus on compliance and reliability.
* Conduct root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement projects.
* Manage audits, inspections, and certification requirements (AS9100 / ISO9001).
* Act as the quality lead with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Mentor junior engineers and technicians within the quality function.
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a Quality Engineer (preferably aerospace, defence, or advanced manufacturing).
* Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.
* Skilled in quality tools - FMEA, 8D, FAIR, PPAP, problem-solving.
* Great communicator who can work with cross-functional teams.
* Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
