Accounts and Payroll Administrator
Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland, BT27
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum (Dependant on qualifications and experience)
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part-time (With a willingness to commit to attend and oversee cash handling at the fourteen race meetings per annum)
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts and Payroll Administrator to join their team.
The Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the payroll, bookkeeping and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and experience with payroll and accounting systems. The Accounts & Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process accounts payable and receivable.
2. Deal with Creditors and Debtors queries.
3. Credit Control function.
4. Compile periodic timely payment files.
5. Do all the bank postings.
6. Reconciliation of several control accounts, including the bank, cash and Balance Sheet Items
7. Ensure that all postings to XERO are correctly posted for VAT.
8. Assist with the preparation of Management Accounts, preparing prepayments and accruals.
