A client in the retail sector is looking for an Interim Financial Controller for an initial six to nine-month assignment. The role sits in a marketing-led, collaborative business and would suit someone who is comfortable taking ownership of technical reporting and month-end delivery. You will handle statutory reporting under IFRS, manage the full month-end close, maintain the general ledger, prepare VAT returns, and ensure internal controls are operating effectively. You will act as the main contact for external auditors and tax advisers, oversee cashflow reporting and forecasting, and provide day-to-day guidance to the finance team.
