The Chief Executive's Office Is Looking For a Professional And Experienced Administrator To Join The Scottish Ambulance Service On a Fixed Term Contract. The Post Holder Will
* Support to the Corporate Governance Team and other directorate colleagues by establishing, developing, and maintaining a coordinated infrastructure and support system which is aligned to the Services' Policies.
* Support the delivery of the key aims and objectives of the of the Chief Executive's Office including activities related to Corporate Governance, and other key workstreams, where required.
* Work closely with the Corporate Governance Officer/Deputy Board Secretary to provide a robust secretariat function at relevant meetings as required, including taking and producing minutes and take/monitor follow up actions.
* Deliver robust office administration functions, including mailbox and diary management for Executive Directors.
The preferred candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. They should be able to collaborate confidently within a multidisciplinary team and have proven experience supporting senior Executives, including the effective management of complex diaries.
You will have experience of taking and transcribing minutes of complex meetings.
You will require a degree of flexibility and adaptability to provide high quality support to the Directorate, ideally having gained experience within the NHS.
With comprehensive experience and understanding of administrative and secretarial environments, you will be expected to develop, implement, and maintain business support systems and processes, working to tight deadlines and producing high quality work with strong attention to detail. You should be computer literate with experience in all Microsoft applications and databases in particular Microsoft Office and Excel.
This role is suitable for someone who is self-motivated and enthusiastic with well-developed team working skills.
