Sales Ledger Assistant - Dudley

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Employment Type: Full-time, Office Based - Free Parking Onsite

A well-established business in the property sector is seeking a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their growing finance team. This vacancy arises due to a team member's departure, with a start date flexible for the right candidate.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you will perform various accounting duties to maintain accurate and up-to-date sales ledgers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cross-team collaboration within a supportive finance environment.


Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate property and tenant records within the system
* Process tenant updates, including charges, credits, and diary events
* Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile tenant accounts
* Raise invoices and issue service charge budgets and reconciliations
* Handle month-end reporting and reconcile the Sales Ledger to the General Ledger
* Process refunds, write-offs, and produce completion statements


Candidate Attributes and Skills:

* Strong communication skills for effective internal and external interactions
* Well-organised with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
* Resilient and adaptable to varied tasks
* Attention to detail with good system and Excel skills
* Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn
