The Role:
Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a passionate and creative Lecturer in Art & Design to join our Creative Arts team on a short-term basis to cover shared parental leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support students in a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking learning environment.
In this role, you will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of Level 1 and Level 2 Art & Design programmes. You will be a key part of a supportive team, planning lessons that foster creativity and confidence, and guiding learners to reach their full potential.

Delivering lessons in line with curriculum requirements and college standards Preparing lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments Supporting students both academically and pastorally Maintaining accurate records and participating in quality assurance processes

A relevant degree in Art, Design, or a related field A recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one) Experience teaching in FE or a similar setting (desirable) Current knowledge of the creative industries and a personal artistic/design practice Strong communication, organisation, and digital skills A commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding, and learner well-being
