Job Description
We are seeking a Trainee Revenue Manager to support our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in revenue reporting and learn best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Management Strategies: Implement overall revenue management strategies within the designated portfolio. Serve as a subject matter expert for hotel teams, ensuring global corporate strategies are executed effectively.
2. Main Tasks: Deliver services per contracted agreements with a focus on customer satisfaction. Develop hotel-specific strategies to boost revenue streams and maximize KPIs. Use the C.A.D.R.E method—Collection, Analysis, Decision, Recommendation, Evaluation—to ensure proper implementation. Maintain revenue management systems, tools, and pricing plans for at least the next 405 days.
3. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' content, pricing, and strategies. Review market share data to outperform the hotel market.
4. Forecasting: Prepare short- and long-term revenue forecasts, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.
5. Reports & Meetings: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Conduct meetings according to the hotel's service level. Analyze special event periods to improve future results.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in the tourism industry
* 2-4 years of experience in a rooms division role
