Search are supporting the recruitment of an Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to shape financial planning and analysis in a growing organisation.
As FP&A Manager, you'll create models, improve processes and deliver robust financial insights. You'll partner with operational teams, challenge assumptions and provide actionable analysis to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
* Prepare insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with commentary
* Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and product-level margin reviews
* Lead cash flow forecasting and flash revenue reporting
* Partner with operational teams to track spend, identify cost reductions, and improve efficiency
* Support major projects with rigorous financial analysis and business case modelling
* Enhance financial processes, implement automation, and optimise workflows
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Proven experience in FP&A with responsibility for outputs
* Financial modelling skills and Excel proficiency (Power Query/VBA a plus)
* Strong analytical ability and communication skills to influence stakeholders
* Experience managing budgeting tools and processes
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment with multiple priorities
* Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent desirable
