Tameside and Glossop Talking Therapies are looking to recruit a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative service that values staff wellbeing and development.
Service Summary
Pennine Care Tameside and Glossop Talking Therapies works with clients aged 16+ and provides a range of evidence‑based interventions for people requiring a psychological intervention between Step 2 and 3 of the Stepped Care model. The service sits within a wider Primary Care Mental Health Team, with nurses, psychologists, counsellors, CBT therapists and PWPs.
Role Overview
The Senior PWP will be proactive, motivated, and passionate about outcomes, driving service development and supporting the provision of high‑volume, low‑intensity CBT‑based interventions at Step 2. The role includes:
* Working collaboratively with clinicians, administrative staff and managers to develop new ideas for improving pathways, productivity and quality at Step 2.
* Developing strategies to reach hard‑to‑reach groups and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with partner services.
* Promoting engagement and providing updates on the service via social media, including the production of video content.
* Reviewing Step 2 practices, identifying patterns, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, and turning insight into workable solutions.
* Leading by example and helping shape a high‑performing, compassionate service.
