Chef de Partie: The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

* Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the restaurant and banqueting.
* Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
* Preparing meat and fish
* Banqueting experience.
* Assisting with the management of health and safety
* Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.
* Monitoring portion and waste control
* Support with the overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

Alongside some of these more general skills that all good Chef de Parties should possess:

* Knowledge and ability to run a section
* Ability to work without close supervision
* Ability to produce good quality food in all sections Good oral communication
* Team management skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Good level of numeracy
* Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
* Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
* Positive and approachable manner
* Team player qualities

About Pinewood Hotel

Pinewood Hotel - an Art Hotel. We are a 4* hotel that offers a beautiful setting in a tranquil location.

The hotel was purpose-built for business, leisure, and pleasure, with a service ethic to match. Whether you plan a business meeting or a wedding, here on-site you will find everything you'll need. A 48 bedroom property with a mixture of Single, Double, Twin, Executive, Accessible, and 2 Honeymoon suites. The Brasserie provides an informal dining experience with freshly prepared homemade food served from the Stage Kitchen.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
