Role Description
This is a contract and hybrid position for Counsellors, Couples Counsellors, Childrens Therapists, Hypnotherapists, CBT and EMDR Practitioners based in Fareham, with some flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional, therapeutic support to clients through one-on-one sessions, using evidence-based techniques such as hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and counseling. Responsibilities include assessing individual client needs, developing personalised treatment plans, maintaining confidential records, and supporting clients in addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, phobias, trauma, and lifestyle challenges. We offer in-person appointments at our Segensworth center, alongside maintaining communication with clients and the team via virtual platforms.
Qualifications
* Therapeutic skills including expertise in Hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Psychotherapy, CBT and Counselling
* Strong knowledge of counseling techniques and the ability to develop personalised treatment plans
* Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and utilising compassionate, client-centered approaches
* Relevant professional certifications and/or licenses in counselling, hypnotherapy, CBT or EMDR practices
* Experience in treating clients dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional conflicts, phobias, and lifestyle challenges
* Proficiency in maintaining client records and familiarity with virtual communication tools
* Flexibility to work both in-person in Fareham and remotely from home
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
