Job Summary
We are a friendly, well‑organised team comprising 12 doctors and 4 nurses, supported by our experienced administrative staff. We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to support our Practice Nursing Team by taking bloods, measuring blood pressures and performing other duties once trained. There is an opportunity to train as a Nursing Associate in future within this role.
Responsibilities
* Conduct blood sample collection.
* Measure and record blood pressure accurately.
* Assist with other clinical tasks as trained.
* Support the Practice Nursing Team with patient care duties.
* Progress toward training to become a Nursing Associate.
Qualifications
* Completion of a Level 3 qualification (e.g., A‑level, NVQ) or equivalent.
* Completion of Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths at A‑C grade level.
* Completion of the Care Certificate or equivalent.
* Relevant experience as a Health Care Assistant is advantageous.
