Youth Support Worker role in Yeovil (Lufton). We are looking for 4 compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join a specialist residential college. You will be supporting young people aged 16-25 with Autism, learning disabilities, and complex emotional or behavioural needs, helping them thrive in education and everyday life.
Benefits
* £15 per hour (inc. holiday pay)
* Full-time hours on a set rota (includes weekends & Bank Holidays)
* Day shifts available: 08:30-15:00 or 14:30-22:00
* Full training provided
Responsibilities
* Support students in education, therapy, and leisure activities
* Assist with personal care and day-to-day living
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive residential environment and keep accurate records and reports to ensure the best outcomes for students
Requirements
* Experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs (e.g. SEN, care, supported living, youth work)
* A calm, caring, and consistent approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Weekly availability to provide stability and continuity for students
