Our GPs work collaboratively with our Advanced NursePractitioners, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Phlebotomists, Clinical Pharmacists,and Pharmacy Technician.
Our team are friendly and supportive of each other andmeet regularly to discuss and suggest new and improved ways of working.
We are looking for a salaried GP to join our team, working pattern or sessions per week are open for discussion.

1. Deliver efficient and effective clinical care to patients attending the surgery.
2. provide NHS general medical services to registered patients on the practice list.
3. Provide all core primary care services as defined by the local CCG and NHS England requirements.

Job responsibilities
OVERALL PURPOSE:
14. To provide NHS general medical services toregistered and temporary patients on the Practice list.
15. In consultation with patients and in line withcurrent Practice disease management protocols, developing care plans forhealth.
16. To assist in the establishment of appropriatesystems to manage common chronic medical conditions.
17. Completion of clinically relatedadministrative and non-clinical duties needed for the delivery of service.
18. Refer patients for further opinions and interventions according toPractice protocols.
CLINICALRESPONSIBILITIES:
19. Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations,telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking andsigning repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork andcorrespondence.
20. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presentingproblems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workerswithin the organisation.
21. Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated andundiagnosed problems.
22. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
23. Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and inline with current practice disease management protocols.
24. Providing counselling and health education.
25. Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referringto other care providers as appropriate.
26. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreedstandards.
27. Collecting data for audit purposes.
28. Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
29. Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (orgenerically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.
30. In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normalduties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
