🎯 Role Overview
As a Warehouse & Counterbalance Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in the safe handling, storage, and movement of pharmaceutical goods within a GMP-compliant warehouse environment. You’ll operate material handling equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and support inbound/outbound logistics to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport goods safely
* Receive, inspect, and store pharmaceutical products in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Perform stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse zones
* Complete documentation and system updates (e.g., SAP, WMS) for all material movements
* Support temperature-controlled storage and handling procedures
* Collaborate with QA, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow
* Adhere to all health & safety regulations, including PPE usage and equipment checks
* Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly
✅ Qualifications & Experience
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, ideally within a pharmaceutical or regulated industry
* Familiarity with GMP, GDP, or ISO standards is highly desirable
* Basic IT skills (e.g., WMS, SAP, handheld scanners)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
