We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful team.
In this role, you will support teachers and students across a range of subjects, helping to create a positive learning environment and ensuring that all students can access the curriculum. You will work with small groups and individual students, including those who may need additional help to reach their full potential. Starting September 2025.
Duties as Secondary Teaching Assistant:
* Support teaching and learning in the classroom.
* Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
* Assist with preparing resources and setting up learning activities.
* Support students with additional needs, including those with SEND.
* Help manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide feedback to teachers about student progress and areas for development
Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:
* Have experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable).
* Be patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with young people.
* Have good communication and teamwork skills as a Secondary Teaching Assistant.
* Be committed to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
