This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will: • Prepare workshop areas and resources to ensure students have the tools and materials they need. • Work alongside teaching colleagues to support the smooth running of practical classes. • Maintain and repair equipment across workshops and training areas. • Set up tools, equipment, and assessment areas for demonstrations and practical sessions. • Assist lecturing staff during practical lessons and demonstrations. • Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times. What We’re Looking For: • Practical skills in a construction-related trade. • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in construction. • Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, stay organised, and meet deadlines. • Relevant qualifications in a construction-related industry. • Experience in a similar role within further education would be an advantage (though full training will be provided).
